Very proud of the summer our athletes have had this summer up to this point!  Keep up the hard work and you will be amazed at what you will be capable of this fall.  Continue to keep a training log.

For the rest of the summer, athletes will be in charge of practice.  They are still planning on meeting in the mornings at 7:00 am beginning Wednesday August 2nd.  Please feel free to contact any coaches with questions you might have.

Monday, July 31st, is our Silverwood trip!  Please plan on being at the Fran Rish parking lot by 5:30 AM to load up the bus as we will depart by 5:45 AM.  We will be stopping in Spokane on the way up for a workout at Manito Park.  Plan on wearing your workout clothes on the ride-up.  We plan on arriving home between 10:30 and 11:00 PM.  Athletes who need rides will be instructed to call their rides once we reach Connell.  A few items to consider bringing:
     *Change of clothes for park
     *Sunscreen
     *Waterbottle
*Plastic bag to store you swimsuit
     *Money for dinner
     *Towel

Fall sports clearance night will be held in the RHS cafeteria on Thursday, August 17th. Season schedule, athlete expectations, and spike night will be discussed.  If you haven't already scheduled your physical, please do that in the next week.  First offical practice is August 21st.  No reason not to be cleared and ready to go.   As part of your physical, please ask to get your iron ferritin checked if at all possible.

Make sure you are monitoring the wear and tear on your shoes.  Good shoes will last anywhere from between 300 and 500 miles.

Continue to check this blog as information will be updated.
