Week #10 10/23-10/29

Congratulations to our boys and girls varsity teams as district champs!  Riley Moore and Katie Andrus came away with individual honors to lead their respective teams.  Our boys jv team placed 4th and our girls jv team placed 3rd.  What a great way for many of our athletes to finish their seasons!


Schedule for the week is as follows:

Monday
3:00 PM Track Shed (Miracle Mile for non-regional participants, bring spikes)

Tuesday
3:00 PM Track Shed (Bring spikes)

Wednesday
3:00 PM Track Shed

Thursday
3:00 PM Track Shed

Friday
No practice (varsity teams in Spokane)

Saturday
Girls 4A race at 1:30
Boys 4A race at 2:30
Boys & Girls Alternate Race at 3:00
Sunday
A short 15-30 minute run if you're able to would be a great thing.

Our state qualifying meet takes place this Saturday at Wandermere golf course in Spokane.  The top 3 teams and anyone placing in the top 21 individuals will punch their ticket to Pasco.  

Registration for team camp up at White Pass this summer opened on October 15th.  Since week 1 filled up within 36 hours, many athletes are now trying to sign up for week 2.  Below is the website.

Registration for Nike NW Regionals held in Boise, Idaho on November 11th will be open soon.  Attached is the link.  The more runners we register, the cheaper the cost is per athlete.  Athletes are in the process of finalizing travel arrangements so please contact Coach Bartlett if you are interested in attending ASAP.

Our end of the year banquet for Tuesday November 9th at 6:30 in the RHS library.  The program will provide pizza and drinks.  The following groups are responsible for:
     Freshman:  Salads 
     Sophomores:  Fruits & veggies
     Juniors:  Fruits & Veggies
     Seniors:  Deserts

This is a message from the ARC of Tri-Cities:
Hello All,

Looking for Runners for our Marathon!!!  

The Arc is participating in the upcoming Tri-City Marathon on Sunday, Oct 29th.  Marathon start at 8:00. Each Runner will given a "Mile Marker" to be ready to run!   Our runners will to doing a relay with 2 of our Participants in specialized wheelchairs.  Runners will only run approximately a mile.

Uniform turn-in will take place tomorrow at practice.  Please have your uniform washed and in a storage bag with a bounce sheet if you would like the same uniform next year.
