Week #7 10/1-10/7

Week #6 9/24-9/30

Job well done by our teams competing in Pasco on Saturday.  Our girls team placed 3rd led my Emma Summers 2nd place finish.  Our boys placed 5th led by Jacob Shermans 7th place finish.  The boys and girls teams were led by Preston Morris, Gabe Haynie, Tiffani Bowers, and Alexis Gibbons.  Looking forward to a great week of practice!!

Please plan on attending an informational meeting on the Max Jensen Richland Invitational Monday October 1st at 6:00 pm in room 2260.  This is our fundraiser for the year and we really need as much parent involvement as possible to make sure it runs smoothly.  We will need volunteers for course marshalls, chute workers, registration, hospitality as well as other jobs.  The meeting will take no more than 20-30 minutes.  Thank you in advance.

Banquet will be announced next week but it is usually the 2nd week of November before winter sports begin.

Week #6 9/24-9/30

Awesome job to all at our first league meet of the year down in Walla Walla.  The girls and boys both placed very well by finishing 3rd and 5th respectively led by the top three finishes of Sophia Fetrow and Riley Moore.  Our JV teams lead by McKenzie Orton and Kaleb Southam finished 3rd and 9th respectively.  Looking forward to seeing our athletes race at Pasco's Big Cross Meet this Saturday!

Week #5 9/17-9/23

Great competition on Steilacoom this weekend.  Athletes competed incredibly well against very good fields.  Hard to believe we are only six weeks away from districts.  Keep up the great work and it will pay off!


Monday:
2:45 PM  South Deck of Gym (football game at 5:00 so we need to get started earlier)

Tuesday:
3:00 PM South Deck of Gym (Picture day so please make sure you pack your uniform the night before).  Pasta feed.  More information to come.

Wednesday:
League Meet #1 in Walla Walla.  Early release after 4th period.  Itineraries will be handed out Monday.

Thursday:
3:00 PM South Deck of Gym

Friday:
2:00 PM  Track Shed

Saturday
8:00 AM Practice at Track Shed
As a reminder, athletes are only allowed to ride home with their parents at the conclusion of meets unless pre-arranged through our athletic director Mr. Edwards.

After some deliberation, we will not be attending the Twilight Meet on September 29th.  There will be another meet put in its place within the next week.

Week #4 9/10-9/16

Great day and great weather at Highlander this weekend!!  Great starting point for everyone top to bottom and great competition!!  Racing season is starting to ramp up so make sure you are taking care of all the little things.
