Changes to practice

Due to high temperatures this week, we are adjusting practice times.  Schedule is as follows:

Tuesday 6:30 PM at RHS Track Shed
Wednesday 6:30 PM at RHS Track Shed
Thursday 6:30 PM at RHS Track Shed
Friday 2:00 PM at RHS Track Shed
Saturday 8:00 AM at RHS Track Shed

We will evaluate weather conditions this weekend to see if next weeks practices will need to be moved as well.

Second Week of Practice 8/28-9/2

What an awesome start to the season!  Great efforts by everyone!  Summer training is really paying off.  Here's the schedule for next week: 


Monday
3:00 PM Track Shed (Bring Spikes)

Tuesday
3:00 PM Track Shed (Boys will meet in Room 2260 at 2:45)

Wednesday
3:00 PM Track Shed (Bring Spikes)

Thursday
3:00 PM Track Shed (Girls will meet in Room 2260 at 2:45)

Friday
2:00 PM Track Shed

Saturday
8:00 AM at Track Shed (Bring Spikes)

Saturday will be a time-trial for all athletes.  Parents, friends, and family are welcome. We will be having a pot-luck breakfast at the conclusion of the time trial.  Time trial will go off at approximately 8:45.  Following classes are responsible for the following:
     Freshman:  Fruit
     Sophomores:  Bagels and spread
     Juniors:  Juice and cups
     Seniors:  Muffins

T-Shirt signups have begun.  Orders will conclude on Wednesday 8/30.  T-shirts are $10.  Any family or friends that are interested in ordering, please have your athlete sign up or send an email order with sizes to Coach Bartlett.

We are still looking for parents/families who are interested in hosting some pre-race pasta feeds.  Anyone interested, please email/text Coach Bartlett with the nights you are interested in hosting.  

With school starting, make sure you are taking care of the little things (sleep, diet, etc).  Have a great start to the school year.

First Week of Practice 8/21-8/26

I hope everyone is as excited as I am to start the 2017 XC season.  Please make sure you are eligible to be at practice by having filled out Family ID and turned in this year's physical form.  You will not be able to practice until you are cleared by the office.  The schedule for this week is:

Tuesday

Wednesday

On Friday, August 25th we will be having a "Spike Day" at Runner Soul on Clearwater in Kennewick.  Athletes will receive 15% off all items in the store.  Just by stopping by at the store, you can enter a drawing for gift cards and other items provided by Runners Soul. 

Please make sure you bring your summer training log to practice on Monday so the coaching staff can make an accurate assessment of where your training is.
