6th Week 9/25-10/1

Awesome job at our first league meet down in Walla Walla.  Thanks to all the parents who were able to come and support our team.  Both the boys and girls teams placed 3rd and ran incredibly well.  Riley Moore and Katie Andrus both picked up victories.  In Connell on Saturday, Courtney Storaci picked up a victory in the JV girls race with a time of 23:32.  Gavin Bridge and Mason Scott were our top boys finishers with times of 19:54 and 20:03 respectively.  Keep up the good work.

Fifth Week: 9/18 to 9/24

Great job last week by everyone.  Good week of practice and great day of racing on Saturday in Lakewood.  Bella Williams won the freshman race with a monster last mile to make up almost 20 seconds on the leader.  Conner Budzeck finished 3rd in the junior/senior JV race in a smart tactical race.  Katie Andrus and Emma Summers placed 12th and 25th in the Girls gold race. Our boys placed 7th in a loaded boys field with Riley Moore leading the way with a 6th place finish in 15:41.5, less than a 2nd our of 3rd.  Jesse Todd ran a 5K PR to place 22nd overall.  Great performances by our girls in the silver varsity race by place 3rd, 7th, and 8th led by Sophia Fetrow.  Fantastic jobs by Andrijana Fundak, Madi Carr, Bailee Carr in their first high school 5K's.
