Week of October 11th-18th

Richland Invitational
Thank you so much to everyone that was able to help this weekend!  It takes a small army to make it run and make it as successful as it is.  We couldn't do it without you!  We had many great performances this weekend.  Riley Moore finished 11th overall and was the highest placing local athlete in the Division I race, helping our boys to a 9th place finish overall.  Our boys frosh/soph team lead by Patrick Workman's 4th place finish placed 4th overall.  Our top girl was Katie Andrus' 34th place finish in the Division I race.

White Pass Cross Country Camp Registration
White Pass Cross Country Camp Registration is very close to being closed for week 1.  We encourage as many athletes to attend this camp as possible as it is a great kickoff to summer training.  Athletes participate in lectures (training systems, nutrition, strength training, etc), workouts up in the mountains along dirt/wood chipped trails, and fun group competitions.  Athletes stay in condominiums across from the White Pass Ski Resort and receive three meals a day.  Athletes must plan on registering early as camp will fill up usually within the first 3-5 days after it is opened.  We attend the first week of camp which this year is 7/10 to 7/15. Registration is online only.  The link to registration is listed below.

NCAA Western Regional Meet
The NCAA national championship qualifying meet for the Western Regional is located in Seattle this year on Friday 11/13.  We will have four former Bombers competing in this meet this year!  It is a great opportunity to see our sport at the highest level.  If there are any parents who are interested in caravaning/carpooling kids over to the meet, please let me know.

Nike Cross Regionals
We have had athletes compete at the Nike Cross Regional meet located in Boise, ID the last 6 years. This year it is on 11/14 and is a fun racing environment with teams and athletes from all over the Northwest.  Our region is comprised of Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, Montana, and Wyoming.  If you are interested in more information on this meet, please let me know.

Looking forward to another great week!  Any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Go Bombers!

Coach Bartlett
