8th Week 10/9-10/15

Great job by our athletes this week at the Max Jensen Richland Invitational on Saturday!  A 6th place finish by our girls and an 8th place finish by our boys in loaded fields was awesome.  A second place finish by our junior/senior boys and a 5th place finish by our JV girls got the day off to a good start.  Huge breakthroughs and PR's by many of our athletes on a very fast day of racing.  A huge shout-out to our parents/students who helped throughout the day.  I received nothing but compliments regarding the meet throughout the day.  It is because of the help our program receives that makes it such a great meet and why teams come back year after year.  If parents that worked have any ideas or suggestions for next year, please let me know.

Registration for Nike NW Regionals held in Boise, Idaho on November 11th will be open soon.  Attached is the link.  The more runners we register, the cheaper the cost is per athlete.  More information to come.

I will be scheduling our banquet for the week of November 6th.  More information to be posted next week.

Athletes need to make sure they are taking care of the little things (sleep, diet, etc) to ensure a healthy and productive season.

Any questions, please feel free to contact Coach Bartlett at jay.bartlett@rsd.edu or by phone at 509-591-1235.
